About Us

Raul and Shawn met while working at a restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah. Between the two of them, they bring more restaurant experience to the table than they care to mention. They owned and operated a restaurant in the Dallas, Texas area for about 5 years. Then they moved to Oregon, but did not feel it was the right place for them to open another restaurant. They came to Estes Park, Colorado to visit a friend and fell in love with the place.When an opportunity to open a restaurant became available (at their first location on Elkhorn Avenue), they jumped at it! And the rest is history.

They opened their doors on Labor Day of 1997 and since have become a local favorite. When Raul and Shawn first came to Estes Park, they did not know a lot about the city, but feel they are really lucky to be a part of this community and are very happy to have found their way here.
